Monthly Bucket List: May 2016

Here we are, already the 5th of May! Happy Cinco de Mayo! As I type this, I realize I probably should have come up with a fancy margarita recipe or something to share with you today, but here I am with my monthly bucket list!

April was a very busy month, I felt like the past few weeks were kind of a blur. Hopefully I'll be able to share more about why I was so busy in the next month or so. But even though we were busy, we packed in a lot of fun things too. Although I didn't cross everything off my April Bucket List, I did pretty well for how much we had going on.

We started the month with a camping trip in Big Sur, as well as another camping trip a few weeks later in Yosemite. Andrew and I also managed to go out on a few dinner dates as well as our hike in Marin last weekend. We went to a new to us mexican restaurant in the city that is my new favorite, Tia Margarita. It's old school with good (strong) margaritas and food. The place was packed and you could tell they were are regulars. I also did a yoga workout at home and really enjoyed it. I was a little worried about going to a class since I don't know the moves, but I think now that I've practiced at home I am ready to try a studio. My sister in law and I are planning to go here soon! I also am reading A Man Called Ove, I haven't quite finished it yet but I'm really enjoying it so far. I plan to finish that book as well as another one in May. You'll notice there are a few items I transferred over from my April list, hopefully I'll have better luck this month!

Do you have any fun plans this month?

San Francisco Bucket List - Revised

I realize this is quite the Bucket List, but there is so much in this city we have yet to explore! I thought it was time to make a list of everything we'd still like to do. This way, on those rare weekends we have nothing going on, this can provide inspiration. When the time comes that we no longer live in San Francisco, I don't want to have any regrets. I want to feel like we took full advantage of living in such an amazing place.

A few of these things we've already done, so I marked those in italics.  I wonder how long it will take us to complete everything?

Monthly Bucket List: April

I used to do posts like this in my early days of blogging (here & here) and it was always fun so I thought I would start it up again. If you know me at all, you know I love lists! I always have a number of to-do lists going and I keep my little journal with me to jot down ideas whenever they come to me.

So I thought, what better way to set goals for the month than by making a list? I don't want to put too much pressure on myself to complete everything. I just feel like time always seems to pass so quickly and I don't always accomplish everything I want to. My goal is that by creating these Bucket Lists I will make time for all the things I want to do & have been putting off. Plus, maybe it will inspire me to try something new!

When I share my bucket list for May, I'll also recap how many things I accomplished from this month.

What's on your Bucket List for this month?
